What’s the Axiomatics Language for Authorization?
A year ago, on July 16th 2012, Axiomatics released the ALFA plugin for Eclipse at the Cloud Identity Summit 2012, Vail, CO (original press release here).
The tool lets developers write XACML 3.0 policies in an abstracted syntax called ALFA (short for Axiomatics Language For Authorization). Developers can directly write the policies inside the Eclipse IDE and the plugin takes care of automatically translating from ALFA into XACML.
Since its release, the plugin has been downloaded time and time again by customers, developers, curious folks, and more. To celebrate its one-year anniversary, I will be handing out copies of the plugin during CIS 2013.
